So recently (yes I have been a little slow to "wake up!" ) I have realised that our 'how to be human' manual is all around us, being blatently shown to us by mother nature. Hidden in plain sight you may say! If only we stopped, rested, and opened up all of our senses to allow the knowledge in, it is all being freely shown to us, all of the time, not in words but in the unfolding.
Yoga is our wake up call, our waking up practice(s) quite literally to clear the field, clean away the debris, redefine our landscape, to allow our base state (ananda 'bliss') to shine forth, and for us to fully reside in it. Our body is our own man and woman grown home, our vehicle to dance, move, still, sing and play through this manifest life. So the invitation this week is sit by a windows, or by a windowed doors, in our car, or office window, and look out, breathe, and watch what is unfolding right in front of us.
When thoughts appear (which they will) try not to get caught up in them, as that just takes us away from the present movement back into the dreaming, just watch the thought appear, and then without interaction, the thought will dissapear. The too-ing and fro-ing of the tide of our thoughts, as they come and go in our awareness. Go back to noticing breathing and what we can see out of the window, and let it show you what revelations are for you today in the how to be human, ever unfolding manual, and enjoy what you see. Hari Om.
