We are what we practice...full stop!

Updated: Jan 26

We cannot wave a magic wand and just get to our destination. This manifest world does not work like that unfortunatley. And remember we choose to be here; out of the infinite other possibilities we chose right here, and right now.  We have to build our craft whatever we choose that to be.  (yes there are lot of choice in it all eh!) I chose yoga to help me become a better human being, and all and whatever that means.  We all choose our different path’s.  And I now know with upmost certainty that whilst we are here, we are what we practice.  I chose yoga to save me (quite literally!, but I will not bore you with all the details of what and why), basically to help me find; my balance; my health and wellbeing and wow it has done that and much, much more.   I chose not to be an elite athlete, a university professor, a park ranger, and yes there was a 'small' window in my life I potentially could have been, but those life paths were not for me, I had other plans, and so did the universe.  I am you, and we may be on quite different paths.  And wow how it all unfolds in it beauty.  I chose my health and wellbeing, my siritual development and the universe decided that yoga teacher (facilitator/conduit is more accurate the more I understand) and my path was set… and I hold space, and invite you to be part of all this, so I may pass forward the snippets of realisation that I have been humble enough, and blessed enough to hear, and see, and most importantly feel as I have learnt my craft over the years, and I still do every single day. We have to put the time in to reap the benefits with everything.

Yoga is for everyone where ever we are physically, emotionally or mentally. Yoga meets us right where we are, and starts there. That is why I love it so passionately, it really is magic, and shows us all another path to being the best we can. So, this week’s invitation is for you to lean into your choices, all your choices, and really feel how they sit with your body, emotions mind, and spirit, and then move forward from there, knowing they are yours to make, those choices. So commit to them wholeheartedly whatever they are for you, with humility, care, and compassion for both you and the others around you.
