It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Christmas and Winter can be a challenging time for all who choose to stay in our nrothern hemisphere over the next few months. Bad things can happen at this time of year and as a species we don't like to let go, most of us are ruled by our ego which reinforces our previous programming…but that is a whole other blog for another time.  But equally this time time of year is really full of magic, lights, love and empathy.

This change of the season and Winter in particular is a necessity for our beautiful world's ability to function well, some seeds need the frost to crack open so they can bring forth new life, the nutrients need to be drawn within and down into the roots, so the plants can flourish next year.  So this week's invitation is to wrap up warm and appropriately covered for the weather outside, but don't stay in. Get out into nature and go for a walk, a really good stomp, preferable out with trees. Go and feed our fellow animal friends, and plantss, leave them food on the floor, and in the trees,  they also need to find water, so pop some out at night, and again in the morning so they to can drink, particularly when it is frosty. When the weather's harsh think about your human neighbours too, and call in on them, and see if they need anything.  We need to support those around us as much as we are able and that is within our capability,  after all we need to shine our love forth, and what better way to do this than with an open hand of nurture, friendship, love, and nourishment.
